Someone We Know by Shari Lapena

Someone We Know by Shari Lapena
4⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loved this book!

Olivia has a problem...her son has been breaking into neighorhood houses and snooping into computers. She feels so guilty. She wants to apologize and promise it won't happen again. Her husband insists they cannot tell anyone because it is a crime so she writes an anonymous apology letter and delivers it two neighbors. What would you do if it were your son?

Bigger problems arise when one of the neighbor's wife goes missing and the other starts snooping to find out who broke into her house.

I know a suspense should not be comical but parts of this book were funny. The gossip and rumors that come out between neighbors when the police show up. There is a lot of "he said, she said" when the police start questioning the neighbors. It held up to being a great suspense.

I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down.

This is my 4th  Shari Lapena book.  At this point I will read anything she writes.
