I have always loved reading. As a child, I always had a book. Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary were 2 of my favorite authors. I also loved Encyclopedia Brown mysteries (I still love a good mystery).
As an adult, I had to give up reading for a while when my children were small. My twins were born 11 months before my youngest daughter so I was very busy. I spent a lot of time reading to them but my reading had to wait. When they went to school I returned to college to earn my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
Eventually I found my way back to reading. I read a little bit of everything and love to talk about books.
In 2019, some of my goals include reading a classic book each month, reading the Harry Potter series (completed in Feb), reading more books from Great American Read on PBS, book journaling, and keeping track of reading on Goodreads.
I look forward to introducing you to the books I'm currently reading and favorites that I have read in the past.
